Another in my propaganda series of photos, trying to recreate the WWI/WWII type graphic poster with my dolls (film noir lighting). It's actually a teaser for a project for fashion doll quarterly magazine.

This doll is made by dollshe, it's an SA Valentino Bermann, which I name Trent. He's 27" tall. The lighting is all set by me. The only thing that is photoshopped are the planes and the poster. There is a little Depth of field focusing on purpose on the face for effect (all done in the camera).

FOR DMU: I'm actually putting this up for composition purposes. I realize the planes probably could be cut out from photoshop better (I can redo that, but I don't want to do that right now because the halo I sort of like... but if it looks WAY too sloppy you all can tell me and I'll fix that after the voting), but the comment that I was curious about most was the wings and plane placements. I don't know if I agree with the comments on composition. So, I wanted to get you all to look at it fresh and let me know if the planes and wings are just not balanced and if they are distracting. You can read the comments (of course) and make your decisions. Again, this is an angel, which I don't think they got, but they thought the feathers were filling space. I don't want to say too much about what I was trying to do compositionally and would prefer people to tell me what they see and if it works or doesn't work. Thanks!
