Remove all electrical appliances and component like TV, Computers etc except a good mini set of CD player for you to play soft music. Replace the lights to warm white and preferably able to dim down. It will be ideal to use more wall lights, bedside light, table light than ceiling lights. Good light effective give soft ambience and motivate moods. Paint walls and ceiling with soft but darker shade of paints to keep the place warm, unlike the office-like hard feeling. Keep minimum furniture where possible. A lazy chair is good to keep in the room or at least create a small cosy corner for reading and chatting with your spouse. Select a good bedset with soft thick mattress cover with soft colour bed cover. The key word is to keep the place simple layout, dim lightings, soft colours
