Question by Guineapigs09: In the movie revolutionary road are the sex scenes real?
I was reading this article that Sam mendes, the director, was telling Kate winslet exactly how to have sex with Leonardo dicaprio and that she felt uncomfortable. Did it just mean that they were pretending or was it for real since in some movies it is? This is kind if an awkward question but I'm just really curious.

No, the scenes were completely simulated.
The reason that Kate Winslet probably felt so uncomfortable is that she was married to Sam Mendes at the time they made that film. Can you imagine how weird it must have been when her husband told her how to kiss, grab, etc., Leonardo DiCaprio? I mean, her husband is telling her exactly how to make out with another guy so that it looks realistic on camera. Talk about awkward!
